Patients
Every ICU patient on one screen, with status, the latest change in one line, open tasks and a hospital course summary.
Design focus
Start the shift with what changed
Clinicians need to know who got worse overnight. Each card leads with status and the latest update, so the whole unit reads at a glance.
Highlights
Impact
- Took an AI-native critical-care platform from concept to MVP (March to July 2026), across five connected workflows: documentation, coding, quality improvement, tasks and handoffs.
- Decisions made on rounds now carry into follow-up work and shift handoffs, through task extraction and assignment.
What I designed
- The product structure and core interaction patterns, turning complex ICU workflows into a focused experience built around a clinician’s shift.
- AI documentation, coding suggestions and quality checks that clinicians review, edit, accept or dismiss before signing the record.
- Task extraction and assignment that connect documentation to follow-up work.
How I worked
- Led product design, working directly with the founders, critical-care clinicians and engineers.
- Built reusable components and interaction patterns that gave engineering a consistent base for the MVP, using Figma, Paper and Cursor to refine interactions and check implementation.
