Design focus
Fewer clicks to what matters today
Key tools were buried in a cluttered side menu. I put today’s status and the most common actions on the first screen.
Highlights
Impact
- Modernized a CMS built without a design team in four months, with no rebuild. Existing pages moved into the new structure, so new features kept shipping without slowing developers.
- Planners now build branded, mobile-ready attendee pages and personalize them without code, instead of maintaining rigid pages and a separate version for each group.
What I designed
- A structure built around how event teams plan, publish and run events, replacing a cluttered side menu that buried key tools.
- A page builder with live desktop and mobile previews, a larger component library and brand controls set once for every page.
- Audience targeting at the component level, by role, department or session attendance, so one page can serve every attendee group.
- An event overview, calendar agenda, registration flows and interactive maps, replacing dense tables with clear hierarchy.
How I worked
- Led the redesign end to end, from research and information architecture to prototypes, visual design and dev handoff.
- Worked closely with developers to fit every change into the existing system, with reusable patterns that were quick to build and simple to scale.
