Patient roster
Where a clinician’s shift begins. The roster updates as new notes, diagnoses and encounters come in, and puts the patients who need attention first.
Design focus
From a static list to live priorities
In a static list, clinicians had to hunt for who was urgent. I put predicted risk on every row, so priority is visible before anyone opens a chart.
Highlights
Impact
- Led product design from the first concepts through the $16M Series B and $31M Series C, for a platform used at Houston Methodist and Cleveland Clinic.
- Made 350B+ records on 140M+ patients, covering 25 years of data, easier for clinicians to navigate and interpret.
What I designed
- Patient discovery built around clinical risk, with progressive filtering and a Focus feature that surfaces the highest-risk patients in any group.
- Reusable filters, dynamic cohorts and saved views, so clinicians stop repeating setup and each role sees the patients it needs.
- Patient Spotlight, AI summaries and conversational exploration, with every AI answer linked to the source notes behind it.
- Risk charts and population comparisons that help clinicians read predictive scores and see what drives a patient’s risk.
How I worked
- Worked with product, engineering and clinical teams from the first concepts to a live product.
- Built the information architecture, interaction patterns and design system.
